Odour extraction and abatement system.
The cutting section is divided into two parts:
- a dust prefiltration section with disposable filters
- an adsorption section with activated carbons
A 15 kW electric vacuum guarantees a capacity of 12,000 m3/h.
The plant was sized in order to keep a shed under vacuum to prevent the possible escape of odors during the opening of the doors. Given the short use of the systems, a few hours every 15 days, sealing shut-off dampers were installed to prevent the activated carbons from absorbing moisture and/or other chimney effects during the period of non-use.
